Embraer Still in Top Spot For Business Jet Sales

For the third year running, Embraer’s Phenom 300 business jet had the most deliveries in the world. After being bestowed with the same honor in the last two calendar years, the three-peat was completed in 2015 after Embraer saw its sales reaching seventy aircraft bought by customers all over the world. The jets are currently operated by nearly thirty different countries. President and CEO of Embraer Executive Jets Marco Tulio Pellegrini expressed his gratitude to the loyal users of the aircraft, and noted that it was a testament to the capabilities they provide.

“We would like to thank our customers for their confidence and continuing relationship, which has enabled the Phenom 300 to enjoy successful acceptance worldwide since its launch,” he said.

“The Phenom family’s design was based on the highest industry requirements, combining the attributes of a best-in-class aircraft. To have the most-delivered business jet in the world for the third consecutive year is a true recognition that we have achieved our commitment to design game-changing products to meet operators’ needs.”

The fleet of Phenom 320’s and 300’s have combined for an aggregate of approximately 300,000 flight hours. Its popularity is justified, as it is cited as one of the best light jets in the world by organizations such as fractional programs, charter services, corporate flight departments and owner-pilots.

An annual report, released at the end of every year by the General Aviation Manufacturers Association, showed good news for the 2015 shipping and billing results for Embraer. The market share for their executive jets had risen to seventeen percent in regards to deliveries of their unit. Their total number of deliveries had reached a five-year peak. Jets in the family of Phenom, Legacy, and Lineage posted a delivery number of 120 for the executive aviation division.
